Today's project is something for the holiday table. I'd like to say I made a set of napkins, but in truth there's just the one. And no, I didn't do that stitching by hand.

Enter the Baby Lock Crafter's Choice semi-automatic sewing machine. This was my first test drive of some of the decorative patterns that it can stitch as if by magic. I'm not sure if Baby Lock has a good reputation or not, but if you hate your Baby Lock machine, I don't want to know. I got it after we moved out here to Victoria, and the honeymoon is not yet over. If you've used computerized sewing machines before, its probably no big whoop. But I'm still easily wowed.
The wind is whistling outside as I hurry this entry to press. Only three more entries to go. That means you better start making Lauren's chocolates tonight. Go on, hurry!
