This is a project I'm calling "Angel's Wardrobe." I'm so glad to be posting at all today. We still have no power at our house, and no internet, so we are at the library making use of the wifi service. I'm hoping that things will be back to normal by tomorrow, but hope you'll forgive me if I'm late in posting again.

We used to have a running joke in our family that practical jokes should be introduced at all holiday gatherings. Christmas would be known as Tricksmas. That's great and all, but who's up for Thriftsmas? I had to share with you this recent thrift store find. One Canadian dollar, box included. Pretty sweet!

These are just like the ones we had in our family. I'm not sure whether someone still has them; surely they must. There's only one little chime missing from the set. (I think that may also replicate the set we had.) If you aren't familiar with these, they are heat-propelled angels that spin in a circle and ring the little chimes as they go (see box for illustration). The big problem is finding the right size candles. I wonder how they work with emergency candles?

cute wardrobe! could you make some for sam? just joking
I loved how you put the ribbon on the angels dress for extra texture and effect. That would be cool if there was a holiday called "Tricksmas" but nothing can replace Christmas!-Laura
