Day 10 - Wish

I found the felt pouch on the right in a local thrift shop. Does anyone know what it is? It looks like one of those pillows you leave for the tooth fairy, but the word "wish" suggests otherwise. To me, it looked like an ornament one might hang on the tree, with a secret Christmas wish tucked inside. So my project today is a wish pocket.

This one's a little rough around the edges. Lets just call it a prototype. Inside is a velvet-lined pocket so your secret wish can be treated most gently. Alternatively, this pouch and 23 of its comrades could organize themselves into an advent calendar, with a special treat or an idea for a family activity concealed in each one.

Wow, Ellen. You have been blessed with a special gift. Your projects are beautiful. Thank you for the inspiration. I will be attempting potato latkes this week for Chanukkah. Paul will be sharing his creativity he spread around the house soon. We just need to get the camera focused off of Abigail (who happens to be Paul and my best work of art yet). Miss you, Gary, ans Sam.
